Tribeca Coffee table

The first version of this table is designed for the resedency of the Museum of Modern Art-director A. Conger Goodyear, in the thirties. A modified design was finished in 1944. This design existed simply out of 2 identical wooden elements and a glassplate. In this period, Noguchi designed sculptures in the same style. The table is produced by Herman Miller since 1947. It is one of the most known designs from Noguchi, also according to himself.
