Finding a location. How did we do this 20 years ago without navigation. Nowadays it's impossible to imagen a car without the TomTom or another variation of navigation. Pieter Geelen and Peter-Frans Pauwels have, due to there invention of the navigation, prevented many marital disputes and wallow parties. It started with handheld computers and in 2001 came the TomTom on the market: The TomTom Navigator.
Nowadays almost every road user has used up one or more navigations. Furthermore they are build in most cars and some road users navigate through there smartphones. In the meanwhile TomTom invents more, new features like, interactive navigation with live service, which announces traffic jams and re-programmes the system so it adjusts your route to the traffic jams. It also warns drivers for police controles. And still, it produces some relief among users when the magic words are spoken: 'Destination reached.'
