The D700 is Nikons first compact professional mirrorreflexcamera. It's a camera with a lot of fans, as the website got its millionth visitor in May 2009. Some people found this camera literally eatable. A American women got a pie for her birthday, shaped as an D700, which can be seen here. The camera also played a role in the Dutch movie Zomerhitte in 2008.
